The Pools
Our award-winning pools, with more than one million gallons of water, were at one time the largest poured concrete pools in the world and were featured in Life magazine. The unique horseshoe pool ranges in depth from one foot to six feet and allows for swimming, float time on designated float days, water basketball from two hoops situated on either end of the pool, and relaxing. Our separate six-lane lap pool—which has a depth of eight feet—offers lap swimming and is where our swim team practices and competes. The dive tank, with a depth of twelve feet, features two diving boards and a water slide and is where our dive team practices and competes.
The Tennis Courts
All of our tennis courts have been updated with post-tensioned concrete. This material is top-of-the-line, which allows for longer life with lower maintenance. Courts 5 & 6 are lined for pickleball with separate rollout nets. Top-tier tennis pros lead the tennis program, featuring drills for adults and kids—beginner through advanced—throughout the summer. Socials, tournaments and friendly round robins complete Nomahegan’s tennis offerings.
The Grounds
Located on more than thirteen acres of premier land in Westfield, Nomahegan offers our two award-winning swimming pools, six tennis courts, an expansive playground area, soccer field, basketball courts, sand volleyball courts, a four-square court, gaga pit, ping pong table, cornhole toss, and shaded picnic area featuring twelve grills. All are meticulously cared for by our full-time groundskeeper.
